Mr. Om Prakash Singh DGP(retd).

Mr. Om Prakash Singh accomplished Indian Police Service professional with rich and varied exposure to the entire gamut of functions in strategic planning, disaster management, human resource management, security operations, general administration and investigation. An alumnus of St.Xavier’s College,National Defence College and Delhi University and holds a Master Degree in Political Science and an M.Phil degree from Madras University. He also holds MBA & P.hd in Disaster Management. Allahabad University also conferred Honoris Causa on him in 2019. Mr. Singh is a 1983 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He was the Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police, and had previously served as the Director General of CISF and Director General of NDRF. He has represented India in many international seminars & conferences in USA, Switzerland , SAARC , ASEAN , China etc He is a recipient of many awards like Prime Minister Award & Kumbh Seva Medal , Police Medal for meritorious service, President's Police Medal for distinguished service , 50th Independence Anniversary Medal, Police Medal for Gallantry and many more. Mr. Singh’s 37 years experience of effective leadership, execution excellence, and resource management will take the group to new heights
